Latin American Remote Sensing Week (LARS) will take place in Santiago de Chile, from October 4th to 8th, 2010.The event is sponsered by ISPRS and Latin American Society of Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Systems “Sociedad de Especialistas Latinoamericanos en Percepción Remota y Sistemas de Información Espacial” (SELPER).

The Organizers invite you to share and meet the latest scientific and technological breakthroughs in subjects of Remote Sensing, as well as the wide variety of applications in this field, in what is expected to be a stimulating international meeting, with outstanding lecturers and special guests.

To promote scientific research in the field of Remote Sensing among the youth, undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to submit their unpublished works. From of all of the student submissions three national and three international students will be selected to present their work during “South Explorers” session.The accepted works will be included on the schedule and symposium’s final compendium emphasizing its quality as awarded work. The winners will be able to participate and present their works at no cost.
